About the Role
Unique Support & Care Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a valued client an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner.
This dual-role position involves working across both the preschool provision and the afterschool care setting, supporting children throughout the afternoon in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children in the preschool room from 12:30pm to 3:00pm
- Transition to the afterschool club from 3:00pm to 6:15pm
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support daily routines, including snack time and structured/free play
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential)
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and reliable attitude
