Job Overview:
We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a passion for mental health to join our team at Medway Maritime Hospital. This role focuses on delivering exceptional care to individuals in crisis, supporting their recovery, and enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients within mental health services.
• Work collaboratively within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) team and on mental health wards.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the RiO system.
• Support patients in achieving self-management and independence through therapeutic activities.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to service development.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience and knowledge of working within mental health services.
• Full driver's license with business insurance and access to a car.
• Proficiency in using the RiO system.
• Experience in Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) and/or mental health ward settings.
